Dr. Huy Tran – General and Cosmetic Dentist
An Orlando native, Dr. Tran attended the University of Florida for undergraduate studies and then continued his education in Chicago where he earned his masters degree in biomedical sciences and dental school.
He and his wife, Megan, both enjoy traveling and exploring new places. The couple are huge Gator fans and enjoy attending Gator games together in Gainesville. Dr. Tran also enjoys volunteering with Team Smiles and Mission of Mercy to provide dental care to those in need.
To keep the promise of delivering the highest level of care to his patients, Dr. Tran attends many conferences for continuing education with a special interest in aesthetics and implant dentistry. In addition, Dr. Tran is active with the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Great experience especially with my kids!!
I seen My Island Dental for what I thought might be a root canal. Turns out it was just a cracked molar and needed a crown. It was an easy fix! Their staff were amazing! They made sure that I was comfortable for the procedure. It only took 2 hours and my crown that was ordered came in, right on time. It fit perfectly and didnt need any adjustment. A great first time visit and experience. We will definitely be calling My Island Dental our family dentist.
